Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
